SAE Baja Engineering Club
Design. Build. Race. Innovate.
The SAE Baja Engineering Club gives students hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and improving an off-road vehicle for SAE Baja competition. The club connects engineering ideas to real-world fabrication, teamwork, and performance challenges.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to design, build, and race a high-performance off-road vehicle that demonstrates engineering excellence, teamwork, and innovation. Through the SAE Baja competition, we strive to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges, develop as future engineers, and push the limits of creativity, durability, and performance.

About the Club
SAE Baja is built around project-based learning. Members work together throughout the semester to plan designs, prepare parts, assemble vehicle systems, test performance, and improve reliability. The club gives students a place to learn technical skills while contributing to a larger team goal.
Hands-On Engineering
Members gain practical experience with design decisions, vehicle systems, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Teamwork and Leadership
The project depends on communication between officers, subteam leads, general members, advisors, and sponsors.
Competition Focus
The vehicle is built with performance, safety, durability, and competition readiness in mind.
